Cakepops

 Chocolate Expresso Cake Pops


Cake mixture:


  • 2 cups crumbled pre-made chocolate cake
  • 1 cup chocolate expresso icing

Coating:


  • 1 packet melting chocolate
  • 1 packet lollipop sticks

Procedure:


  1. Put the chocolate cake in a bowl. Add the expresso chocolate icing to the cake and mix until well combined. Roll the mixture into balls of any size you would like. Place the cake pops onto a lined pan and refrigerate for 2 hours or freeze for 15 minutes.
  2. Pour the melting chocolate into a microwavable dish and heat until melted. Stir periodically.
  3. Then pull the cake pops out of the fridge or freezer. Take the lollipop sticks and stick them into each cake pop. Dip each of the cake pops into the molten chocolate and shake off the excess.
  4. At this time, sprinkle with the candy/sprinkles of your choice and let the pops dry by sticking them, cake-side up, into styrofoam.
  5. After they have finished dried, eat & enjoy! :)
